I place my focus not only on capturing your precious moments, but also creating a fun and luxurious experience throughout the process! I will work with you and your family every step of the way, from booking your session to the delivery of your finished art. Let me walk you through what a session with Alyssa Gil Photography is like!
When scheduling the date of your photoshoot, we will also decide on a location where you want to take your pictures. If you don't have a spot in mind, I have several places where I love to shoot. We will choose the location that showcases your family the best! If you are scheduling a newborn session, the photoshoot will take place in my home studio, where I have props and your new baby will be very comfortable. When scheduling your photoshoot, we can also schedule a time to meet in person before the big day to discuss specifics and make sure you get exactly what you want. Once we schedule a date for your photoshoot, I will send you my Client Welcome Guide. In the guide, you will find tips on how to make your photoshoot a great one and a style guide to help you and your family look great! I know the process of dressing the whole family can be daunting, but I will be there with you every step of the way. If needed, I will provide personalized service on what to and what not to wear to your photoshoot so you and your family look their best!
BEFORE THE SESSION
On the day of your session, we will meet at the location and start by getting comfortable. I know what it's like to be in front of the camera - it can be awkward and intimidating, among other things! My main goal is for you and your family to feel completely comfortable during our session, and I especially want your kids to have a great time. We'll spend between 1-2 hours shooting your session, and we will start with the candid, fun, and playful images to get everyone comfortable. Don’t worry though, we will make it to that posed, picture-perfect family portrait! I like to wait until the kids are nice and comfortable with me before I start giving them too much direction, so you can expect this further into the session.

DURING THE SESSION
After we finish your photoshoot and your memories have been captured, I will spend the next two weeks going through your images and carefully editing each one. I will then put those images into a slideshow for you and your family to enjoy during Reveal Night! We will schedule Reveal Night for about two weeks after your session. In the meantime, I will try to get a couple of sneak peeks on Facebook for you!
AFTER THE SESSION
Two weeks after your session, you will come to my studio for Reveal Night! I will bring a delicious dessert for everyone to enjoy and we will watch the slideshow of your beautiful images. Ordering can feel a little daunting, but I will walk you through the process. I will help you plan your album, wall portraits, and answer any other questions you may have about which products are perfect for your family. On this night only, you will be offered special Reveal Night pricing, and the goal is to get your order finalized so you can receive your products as soon as possible! All print products can be expected within 2-4 weeks, and all digital products will be delivered within 48 hours.
